1. Purpose of the Policy

The CIEAF Curriculum Licensing Policy defines the terms under which accredited institutions may purchase, use, deliver, and maintain CIEAF curriculum.

This policy ensures quality, consistency, and compliance across all institutions operating under CIEAF accreditation.

This policy applies to all curriculum purchased from the CIEAF Curriculum Marketplace.

2. Eligibility for Curriculum Licensing

Curriculum licensing is exclusively available to institutions that hold active CIEAF accreditation.

Non‑accredited institutions cannot:

  • Purchase curriculum
  • Access the Curriculum Marketplace
  • Deliver CIEAF‑structured programs
  • Use CIEAF documentation or assessment tools

Accreditation is the mandatory gateway to curriculum access.

Institutions may rebrand the curriculum under their own name.

Delivery Rights

Institutions may deliver the curriculum to learners under their institutional identity.

Assessment Rights

Institutions may use CIEAF‑aligned assessment tools included in the package.

Certification Rights

Institutions may issue certificates under their own brand for programs delivered using licensed curriculum.

These rights remain valid only while accreditation is active.

CIEAF provides updated versions of curriculum as part of the annual licensing fee. Institutions must:

  • Adopt updated versions within 90 days of release

This ensures consistency across the global network.

8. Termination of Licensing Rights

Licensing rights are automatically terminated if:

Upon termination, institutions must immediately:

CIEAF reserves the right to:

  • Conduct compliance audits (announced or unannounced)
